June 19, 2024, is a night I’ll never forget. Playing drums with Catie Offerman as the opening act for George Strait at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, was a dream come true.
The Build-Up
Anticipation had been building for months. George Strait, the “King of Country,” was set to perform at Kyle Field, which can hold over 100,000 fans. Opening for such an iconic artist was an incredible honor. Our band, led by the talented Catie Offerman, put in countless hours of rehearsals to ensure we delivered a stellar performance.
